The Metal Spinning manufacturing process takes sheet metal blanks and forms them into circular parts. This process is carried out on a lathe and uses forming tools to press and shape the metal.

Deep Drawing:
Deep drawing is a metal forming process that stretches a metal blank around a tool. The blank is restrained by rings as the tool is deep drawn into a top die cavity to achieve the end shape.

Common Deep Drawn Parts:

  • Hemispheres
  • Pans
  • Shells

Hydroforming:
Hydroforming is a metal forming process that is a cost effective alternative to stamping and other metal shaping methods. Hydroforming uses a punch tool and a rubber diaphragm (die) to form the parts. During the hydroforming process, the punch ascends into the fluid forming female die, which wraps the material around the tool - creating a part.
